Its a great old log ride.I like it even better late in the day when the lines are short and the lights are on.
crazyco is so right Flume 1 is definately better because you go back in the woods and the splash gets you just a tad bit wetter! However this flume is rarely open. Flume 2 is fun too!
I have always like flumes because they dont soak you down. You might get a little damp, but that isnt so bad. This is pretty much a run of the mill flume, it has some nice theming as it runs through the woods. It could use some TLC, but until then, it will do.
The worlds first log flume is pretty good for being over 40 years old. Though most of the theming was taken out over the year, the log flume provides great family fun. The Ozarka Splash, as it is called now, has a relativly low wait most of the time and is fun durring the mid-afternoon after lunch.
Another special ride to me. The ride is really fun as you drift through the woods and it ends with a nice splash (not too wet, not too dry). Try to ride the one with all wooden supports (the line to the right where the line splits) if its open. Its a lot better.
classic flume, yes, but its pretty sucky. They just need a little bit more theming. the natural trees are good and all, but i know they could do a good job if theyd get some man made theming in there like on bugs white water rapids. ehhh ill give it a...8
Only one flume was working when I rode it, and I didnt get wet at all. No themeing, no shade, and the entrance is hard to find. But hey, at least it was something to ride.
Worlds first log ride ya got to love it !
A great classic flume! Flume 1 is the best! It goes back into the woods (the trees are really close).
I like this ride mainly because of its historical value. Its really fun...for me at least. Some of my friends say its boring...go figure.
