Screamin Eagle is a wood sit down roller coaster. It is a O&B type. It was built by PTC in 1976. It was designed by John Allen. It is 110' tall, it is 3,872' long. It is fast, fun, rerideable, it has a large capacity, and a long duration.

This was a pretty fun ride, I like the red, white, and blue colors on it. This is a typical out and back wooden coaster, so prepare for some pops of floater airtime. I love how both of the wooden coasters are hidden in the forest which makes it more thrilling. I actually hit a tree branch when I had my arms up! (But Im tall.) Good thing Im not one of those sue happy Americans. And the queue line is VERY scary, its so claustrophobic and there was this wasp nest right above me! But good thing it was a short wait. Ride it if youre at Six Flags!

It is a nice wooden rollercoaster. Not exactly thrilling, but not boring. Definately more of a younger persons kind of coaster. No major dislikes though.

Great looking coaster with a classic out and back layout... lots of hills and dips. And a great setting through the woods. But the trains are the drawback. They appear to be PTC trains, but I have never been in PTC trains that have been this cramped. Were they retrofitted with the high back seats and the padding cuts down on the room? I could hardly breath when the restraints came down.

APPEARANCE-7 If the whole ride gets repainted then this would be a ten, however when I went it was just the first part that had be done. Also has some worn down areas in the que. CAPACITY-9 Thet were doing a pretty good job on this ride and it was running two trains on the busier day. RIDE QUALITY-8 The speed was really good on this 30 year old coaster, however nothing more than just a tweak of air hurts it. FUN-9 Just a nice enjoyable, very fun ride. RERIDE-10 I would always take another spin on this classic, since I am sure the line never gets too bad. OVERALL-43 AVG-8.6 I am going to round down for the 8 since there are some other wood coasters that feel better that only get 9s from me.

This is a truly classic woodie. I did not feel that much airtime in the very front seat, but the ride looked gorgeous with its recent paint job, and it ran smooth with VERY comfortable seats. I loved the first drop, the ride through the woods, and some of the views of the park from the hills. This is a great coaster, and makes my top 10 list!

Well, it is not safe at all. My Lap Bar flew up down the 2nd drop and me and my friend had to push it down the entire ride

This is definitely my favorite wooden coaster. The airtime is amazing along with the scenery. By the way, I saw a deer the other day. I also enjoy the fact that the ride doesnt useless turning like others do. I love out and back woodies, and I think PTC makes awesome woodies.
