Disappointment is all I CBS imagine people who rode the oriental mr twister got when they got this milder in every way ride. I'f you want a real sample of true twister go to knoebels it's recreation is much more enjoyable and unique. Twister || "built wilder the second time around!" replace the w with m and you've got the right tag one for this attraction. Moving on the ride was solid I really liked the rides look from offride nice clean white coat of paint highlight the turns and helxis. Trains painted patriotically with elitch gardens logo on them are nice although three bench trains seems strange for such a twisting ride(fun fact both the old mr twister and knoebels twister have 2 bench trains). After the lift the classic WTF turnaround gives yu a good push to the side before you Come up to the first drop now I should mention TW2 is a mirror image of the original so opposite of TW2 is the original layout

I love the Twister II! It's one of my favorite wooden coasters. I always sit in the back for a better lift.

I thought this was an excellent woodie! It had its share of speed, twists and turns (plenty of those), Excitement, roughness, smoothness, and much more! It is one of my Favorite woodies!!

The reasoning behind only using one train is that fact that it only takes two people to run it, as opposed to three. Very rarely will there be a long wait is there is only one train running, otherwise there would be two trains.

For an older wooden coaster that doesnt get too terribly much hype anymore, I found Twister II to be a surprisingly good ride. The last several new wooden coasters that Ive ridden (new for me, anyway) have been either exceedingly rough (Myrtle Beachs Hurricane and Family Kindgoms Swamp Fox) or incredibly tame (PGAs Grizzly). The Twister was actually a perfect blending of the two extremes. It had some nice wooden coaster elements, such as the first drop following the curving turnaround, several lateral-g producing turns and helices, and a nice, very dark tunnel. But none of these were executed in a painful manner. Twister II should therefore please everyone.

While I am not sure when the trim was added, but when I rode, it hit hard. There was NO AIR other than that first drop, and thats just a little pop. The ride is mildly fun I guess. I wish I could have ridden trimless, but since I didnt I dont have anything else to go by.

Dont get me wrong, the ride is mildly fun, and a five is an average rating, but the ride doesnt live up to its own potential. There are so many spots in the ride where there could be some great airtime, but instead, you just roll over the hill withought feeling nearly any negativ gs. It has some nice elements, sure, but I do not see it near the best ride in the park. Porbably more like 4th in my books.

This is a pretty nice wooden coaster that I really enjoy. In the morning you can get on this without a wait and usually get rerides without ever leaving your car. One time I got 6 rerides without getting out of my car! The ride begins with a small drop out of the station followed by a 101ft tall lift. The train plunges into a turnaround and goes into the first drop. The train once again turns around and goes into a little double dip producing airtime for riders in the back. After that twister does twists and turns followed by a hidden tunnel. The first time I rode this the tunnel caught me off gaurd and scared me. After that twister slowly lowers you back to the station and finishes. I would suggest sitting in the back car middle row this offers the smoothest and best ride. If you sit in other seats this is a really rough ride. So, enjoy this coaster in one of the smoother seats.

Its A Great Coaster, at first watching the ride from the ground had me a lil nervous because of the way the structure buckled and swayed! But it kind of made the ride more exciting! ITS A GREAT COASTER! THE SPEED,TURNS, AND DROPS A ARE AWSOME!
