The Timberwolf is a wood out and back roller coaster. Built by Dinn & Summers, designed by Curtis Summers. It was built in 1989 it is 95' tall, 4,230' long. It is fun, fast, rerideable, has a large capacity, and long duration.

It was great but the ride is just getting too old. It rattles the heck out of you. But other than that its good.

This coaster was just ok. I don't think it really mad much air time to it. It wasn't very thrilling and it was very bumpy. Which they at least put a sign up warning you before you go on. It doesn't really stand out much in the park. Nothing to love but nothing to hate either.

great for such an old wooden roller coaster. it has some great elements and weaving in and out of the supports the entire time, but might get a bit rickety after a while. the prowler definitely out does this ride, but then again the prowler is the newest coaster in the park. a must ride for wooden roller coaster fans, but if you dont like them too much, then you might want to skip the ride.

What a piece of crap. The layout is excellent, but the execution leaves much to be desired. Incredibly rough and not recommended. A huge disappointment for a woodie fan.

This ride was OK, the first drop was pretty good, but the ride really lost potential after all of the trim brakes. I would imagine that the ride would be a lot better without them. The ride wasnt that rough compared to some wooden rollercoasters (The Boss,) so thats a plus. It also had a pretty good layout as well. I rode it in the front one time and the seat right behind it and that made a HUGE difference. The seat behind the front was BRUTAL! The very front was pretty smooth however. Overall I would like it more without the serious trimmage.

If you like wooden coasters, this is a pretty good one. It is bumpy, but if you are a true coaster fan, that is something you appreciate instead of dread. Solid drops, it maintains good speed throughout the ride, multiple hills with good air time, and a long helix. Fun ride and a cant miss if you find yourself at WOF.

ARGGGH. I had to wait 30 minutes for timberwolf thanks to 1 train operations. I said in the middle of the train. We went down the small dip and went up the lifthill. I was hoping for another airtime filled ride. However, I was let down again. We rounded the turn at the top and went down the drop. My car began bumping and shaking. We slowly went up the hill and turned again. We went down another drop and headed into the helix. The whole car was shaking violently. The ride could not end soon enough. Even worse was the fact that the train barely crested the hills. I was expecting airtime, not a coaster that moves at a snails pace! We were slowly lulled back into the station. We went over some of the bunny hops so slowly, I was expecting a rollback! Our train was still shaking and I was getting a headache. "When can this ride end!" The whole train shuddered through the elements even though we were barely moving. This was yet another boring ride.

I love wooden coasters, and this is one Ive really enjoyed a lot. Rode it on a nice, drizzly day once. Nothing like being pelted with rain on a coaster while praying the brakes work when needed! *LOL*
