The Boomerang is a steel sit down boomerang coaster built in 2000 by Vekoma. It has 6 inversions, it is 125' tall, and 875' long. It is fast, fun, rerideable, it has a large capacity, and long duration.

Fun ride, Wish the Zambe Ze Zinger was still where this ride sits now...This short coaster does what the name says... Takes you up one hill backward, you drop and go into a helix and imediately into another then up another hill.. Just when you reach the top you stop for a split second. the it drops and you do the whole thing backwards. it fast and short. But very fun.

Its a good ride i guess, i wasnt amazed. the ride is really rough though. But the boomerang means you go forward...and then backwards so that part is cool. Ill ride this ride but its not high on my priority list.

I've been on enough coasters that they generally don't scare me much anymore. This is one exception cause at one point I fell like I was going to fall out. So the thrill of being scared doesn't translate into a great ride. It was fun but not quite sure it was worth the headache I had after it was over.

average boomerage ride. it doesnt fit in with the paint of it for its section of the park, but oh well. there is a lot of head banging on most of the loops, and there is barely any room to move your arms or body when you are in the ride (the restraints are very badly designed for movement). the coaster is fun if you have asprin for the headache you will get out of it though! usually doesnt have a long line on weekdays. from what i hear, the coaster is replaced was way better than this boomerang.

I love a good boomerang, but this one was kinda rough. Not much else to say.

I loved this ride! I expected a rough ride from all the bad vibes of Vekoma, but I was shocked to find a pretty smooth ride! The first drop gives you a pretty good rush, and the first 3 inversions are really fun, love the hangtime in the very back! Then this ride gets intense because you go.....BACKWARDS! (Hence the name Boomerang, har dee har har.) The backwards loop was super intense, and the cobra roll was awesome backwards as well. I rode this probably around 5 times because its so fun! And no lines whatsoever! The very front though I didnt like. The backwards part felt like someone was sitting on my chest! Some people like that feeling I guess. This needs a paintjob BADLY. Yellow and Pink? DISGUSTING!

Typical boomerang set up that every park in the world has now. But, it still is a fun ride with quick inversions and an exciting run in reverse that still can get me disoriented sometimes after 50+ rides.

I cant believe that the zambezi zinger is gone! A factory line boomerang will never compare to anything made by schwarzkopf, and its even worse that they tore down an original ride like that. I have a friend who rode it right before it closed. He said that it was an amazing ride. Its sad to see great rides like this go. Well anyhow, this was yet another rough and predictable boomerang. I kept my head forward to try to prevent banging, but I just got whiplash. This ride looks like it could be perfectly smooth. It just isnt. Im lucky though, I didnt have to wait. Also, whats with the ugly station and color scheme? It really clashes with its surrondings!
