The line was too long the last few times I was here, but we made it this time. The skipper was REALLY funny considering I usually hate knee-slapper jokes. The animatronics were pretty good. They could use a new coat of paint. No one ever told me about the snake cave thing, though. Good ride.

One of the more pleasant surprises of magic kingdom. The tour guide I had did a very nice job and was very entertaining. I personally didn't think I was going to like the onslaught of bad jokes that I knew was coming. In fact I thought it was just going to be distracting from the actual ride. I was wrong. It actually added something to it that may have may made for what some would consider a boring experience. While some may say that this ride is outdated since you can go on similiar rides with real animals, I don't think thats true. Some of the scenes of the ride could only be done with the animatronics and thats what makes this ride the classic that it is. Even if it is second fiddle to other classics at the magic kingdom.

It all depends on your driver, but it's a classic regardless.

This is one of the original Disney rides and it is still very entertaining. How good it is of course depends on how good of a boat driver you have. I have had good drivers and I have had great drivers but only once had a so-so one. The effects themself could use an update but are not bad. If you want a classic Disney experience do not miss this. Overall rating 4.25

A great ride, although no denying it's certainly augmented by a good skipper (and conversely will suffer with a poor skipper). The jokes are corny but amusing, and the theming is well-done but simple as far as animatronics. Children will love this ride; adults who keep an open mind to the theming and to the kind of humor they are going to experience should also have a great cruise.

Your ride experience can be the highlight of your day or a complete waste of time, depending on the Skipper that guides your tour. However, ignoring the obvious variable, this ride is a must for any die-hard Disney fan who doesn't mind a bit of retro technology. A fun stop for weary travelers who don't mind corny jokes!

An average boat ride. Not really that exciting at all. It doesn&#39.t really belong at Disney, more like Sea world.

Very nice ride. it is engaging even though some of the animals look fake and out dated. the tour guides are really not needed though.

Very nice boat ride and truely a Disney classic. The theming was excellent and the animal animatronics were great. Also, the ride was pretty long and I usually have great tour guides that really make the ride more interesting.

The Jungle Cruise is a fun ride to rest your feet. It has some nice scenery and the animatronics are well done. The overall theming is good and the atmosphere is pretty authentic. This is one of those rides where the whole experience really depends on the actor. If the actor is good the ride is a better experience. If the actor is bad... well... youve still got the scenery.
Is it worth waiting over 30 minutes? Probably not. Its a pretty good ride but Id suggest riding it when the lines are short.
Will the kids like it? If they are into animals they just might. Just be sure they arent scared of crocodiles or hippos.
So, all in all, a decent ride and definitely one of the classics. I give this ride an 8 out of 10.
