The sights and sounds will leave lasting impressions lasting a lifetime.

Fantasmic is great and everyone should see it at least 3 times to get the full effect. If you have already seen it a few times then it is the best time to hit pretty much any of the other rides because the majority of the people in the park are watching the show and you can just walk on the other rides.

Its really hard to believe how popular this show is. The area near it begins to get crowds 2 hours in advance, and right at show time it is pure Disney-controlled chaos. Its a good show, dont get me wrong, but I have never seen a show worth that sort of a wait. I loved the combination of effects like the fire and projections and such, and the ships were very lively. It gets an 8 mostly because Im not into shows, especially ones 20 minutes long, but this was a good one.

Unquestionably the best show at any Disney theme park. It is not an exaggeration to hype this show up as spectacular, as that is truly what it is. The effects (images projected on giant water screens, fireworks and lasers, the entire river catching on fire) are all first rate, the music is perhaps the best score Disney has ever come up with, and the overall theme of good vs. evil in Mickeys imaginative dream is perfectly realized. So many of your favorite Disney characters from your favorite Disney movies make appearances here (Pinocchio, the pink elephants from Dumbo, Jungle Book characters, Peter Pan, several princesses with their princes). The villains from Snow White, the Little Mermaid, Fantastia, and Sleeping Beauty all try to turn Mickeys dream into a nightmare, but of course good triumphs in the end. The rousing finale with the cast of characters on the Mark Twain Riverboat and Sorcerer Mickey high atop Tom Sawyer Island consistently leaves the audience cheering. It is true that it can be a challenge to see this show, especially if there is only one show during the day. If there are two, absolutely go to the second one. You will not have to wait anywhere near as long and you should find a reasonably good spot. Fantasmic is the epitome of what Disney does best. They spared no expense here, and, as the name implies, it is fantastic!

the show itself is pretty cool, with a little to much emphasis on those hazy mist projectors, but why this show ranks so low in my book is because of the crowd control, the location is horrible for such an enormously popular show.

Best show at a theme park ive ever seen. I could watch it over and over. Although it seems that there are so many people watching you wont be able to see it, you can see the show clearly from almost any point around the Rivers of America. The effects are great and the music is fantastic. Since the it shows usually twice nightly its good because you can ride the rides and watch the second show or vice versa. Overall its a great show and I recommend watching it.

very cool but not as good as disney worlds

I wouldnt have rated it a 10 before I saw the far inferior one at MGM studio. Now Ill give it a ten just to realize who good this show is and how horrible the one at MGM. WDWs version is just a joke. This one is pure classic, WDW shold stop doing cheap-copying crap or at least make it better.
