This is another classic. Filled with jokes, scenery, and animatronics, there is no way to go wrong!

I have to rate this as a bit of a disappointment - not as good as the Florida version. It seems a little shorter and with a little less variety. (The recent addition of the attacking pirranahs definitely is a nice touch though.) The lynchpin of this ride is the shameless, awful jokes that the guides tell - and who doesnt love awful jokes? I rode this twice at DL; once we couldnt even hear the guide over the sound of the boats motor, the other time we could, but his delivery was so-so. Your mileage may vary with a better skipper.

My guide on this ride was so funny. He made the ride for me. The ride it self is just ok. I do like looking at all the fake animals.

Now this ride is all about your tour girl/guy. Disney does an amazing job at hiring great employees and there are ome hosts on this ride that are just down right hillarious. If you do get a fun host like me and to go along with the classic ride you will give this a 10.

Im judging by the recent additions like the piranah attack and the monkeys shooting at you, which makes this ride an exciting E-ticket

The best of the old time classic boat rides. With its jungle theming and fun adventure, its worth the ride if the lines are not too long. Young ones will love it.

Though the Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion tend to be guest favorites as classic Disneyland attractions, I rank the Jungle Cruise right up there with them. This really is as classic as Disney rides get, as it is one of the few rides that still remains that opened with the park back in 1955. I love the idea of being in a rustic old boat in the middle of a jungle river. The theming is outstanding (even in the queue, which transports guests waiting in line to a river expedition outpost in an ambiguous Asian, African, and/or South American jungle during the early 1900s). On board, the vegetation surrounds the entire ride very densely, so that there is a far-removed feel from the rest of the world while riding. There are also MANY animal animatronics (so much so that it is easy to miss some, as the guide may direct attention to one side of the boat and, intentionally or not, ignore some on the other side). Speaking of the guide, his or her humor becomes a major component of the ride as well. Most of the time the guides have a very dry sense of humor with extremely corny jokes, which adds to the fun (though sometimes it is a little difficult to understand them over the muffled microphone or boat motor). I also love the headhunters, the waterfall, and the recently-added attack by piranhas! Another not-to-be-missed attraction at Disneyland.

If theres no line I always hit this one up. Its a pretty boring ride that can be great depending on the tour guide you get. Sometimes they lack any personality which just ruins the ride.
