This is another nice B&M creation. It doesn't deserve a 5 because it was kind of short. It seems like the break run is longer than the ride itself. It also would be more fun if it had more inversions. Overall it is a nice ride.

This pales in comparison to other B&Ms. The first drop was small, but deceivingly quick and steep. Following that was a very intense and powerful vertical loop. After that the ride was rather boring, but still smooth. The helixes were forceless in my opinion and the corkscrew was rather boring.

Vortex is visually very appealing, with its purple and yellow track draped around the center of the park. I thought this might be a newer B&M stand-up coaster, just a smaller one, like the Georgia Scorcher. I guess its just had an age-hiding paint job, as it turns out this is one of B&Ms very first stand-ups, and thats pretty obvious while riding. This lacked the quality that makes the Riddlers Revenge such an outstanding ride--its smoothness. Nevermind the duration and the number of inversions, because, as we saw with Top Gun, good things can come in small packages. I was just surprised by how much of a head-banger Vortex was, as that is not something Ive come to expect from a B&M. However, this was still much better than an Intamin or Togo stand-up, and I did enjoy the pacing and the tight direction changes, even if I did have to cushion my head with my hands while executing them!

rough but fun, hardly a wait because the entrance is hard to find, worth a peak.

By far the weakest of the B&Ms. It is too short and kind of rough. It is pretty old and to be fair PGA doesnt take great care of it. It was a good starting point for B&M and they have improved the type a great deal, i.e. Riddlers Revenge, Mantis, and so on. Dont judge stand-ups on this one. It is only average.

merely ok. doesnt make a strong statement in favor of building more stand-up coasters.

I just cant enjoy this ride too much, because for some reason I ALWAYS get a get a headache on it. Plus, Ive been on better stand-up coaster in any case. This isnt as thrilling anymore

Fun. Just a little too rough and too short. But you should ride it.

This was my 1st roller coaster Id ever rode. U gotta love the standing up element they put into it. It is a lot better than it looks!
