Probably the biggest disappointment of the day at beech bend. The drops were nothing special. The ride was too jerky around the corners and my car spun around one time on the whole track. Not good at all.
Date ridden: 2006. Times ridden: 1 This was my first spinning mouse coaster and was a bit of a let down. The ride had problems through the day going down at least 3 times in the four hours we were there. Alas, once it was with us actually on the track when everything just stopped. We were stuck there for about 10 minutes before they got it running again. If you have ridden these types of rides before and like them, you will like this one as well. It is well-themed and fits in well at Beech Bend. It gets the typical mouse score of a 6 despite the problems we had with it.
Probably one of the best Zamperla mice out their. The first two drops as always were quite good, but these two seemed faster and more of a kick to them. Also, once the spinning portion began, the car almost never stopped spinning making a thrilling ride. Still, there were a few painful spots like will all Zamperla mice in the hairpin turns.
If you get a good spin, its fun; if you dont, its not fun. Not one of the better wild mouse spinners Ive been on and quite frankly I sometimes prefer standard mouses.
The definition of a fun ride! Yah, their are like 100 of these damn things, but this one has a pleasant location in the park, and spins great if you weight the car right, not to mention that the girl (yes just 1 girl) running it, was SUPER nice. Anyone that beleives that employees do not have an effect on the ride are liars, she was so nice, and joked around with us. We probably rode it like 15 times. Great little ride!
Appearence-7 Looks like a mouse on the cars. Fun-7 Rerideable-7 I rode it 5 times when I visited. Ride duration long and cars spin based on weight in car. Capacity-7 Alot of trains run on this coaster and the cars hold 4 people per car. The Wild Mouse is a steel sit down mouse coaster built in 2005 by Zamperla. It is 43' tall, 1,377' long, and travels at speeds of 30 mph.
This type of spinning/crazy/wild(in this case by name)mouse pretty much all suck unless you are like LarryGator and some how you still have the equilibrium of a small child. I love the Maurer versions that I rode in England, but these type are just uninspired cookie cutter rides. People complain about Batman clones, but these are far more guilty for crimes against the general public. Man credit hunting will make you ride a lot of junk.
Not a big Wild Mouse fan... but I do like Crazy Mice or Spinning Wild Mice... and this one does not let down. The first part of the ride (before the spinning) is fast and fun... and once the car reached the place where the spinning began, our car never stopped whirling, so much so that the ride op at the end said "You two were spinning pretty good." Once the car stopped at the station, it took our eyes and brains a few minutes to stop spinning. We staggered off the ride like we were coming off a night of heavy drinking.
Typical Zamperla spinning mouse that is entertaining. Our ride didnt make the most of the spinning but at the same time wasnt painful like some. Enjoyable, yes. Reridable? Yes, but nothing spectacular other than yet another credit...
