The Swing Shot is a flat ride. It is fast, fun, rerideable, it has a large capacity, and a long duration.

Definitely one of the best flats Ive been on. The ride was very comfortable and the swinging provided incredible air at the top and powerful Gs on the way down. The cycle was also decent in length.

Best screamin swing Ive been on to date. I like how the ride looks and the restraints were very comfortable. The views during the ride were decent and the sensations were incredible. Even better was the air time as I got great ejector air on the swings. Kennywood also ran a good cycle as well.

I love that this park aquired one of these, but I have been on better. Its location is terrible, and the loading process is pretty slow.

Excellent flat ride! This one gives the best cycle of any of the screamin swings I have been on. Plus, since it was a larger model, you really get to go up pretty high. I love the sensations and the way they can vary from negative to positive so quickly without making me sick. Probably my favorite ride in the park behind Phantom, and it wasnt even a 10 minute wait, awesome!

Swingshot is a unique thrilling and airtime filled great flat! A ride on the Swingshot is a must do when visiting Kennywood. The ride cycle is just long enough that it doesnt get boring but i heard they shorten the ride cycle if they only have 1 out of 2 swings working to shorten lines. But its great looking down at all the people and if you sit on the other side you practically are above the highway!

To me, SwingShot was an outstanding addition to an already stellar lineup of flats at Kennywood! This ride delivers in the thrill department, as the swings are fast and the airtime is fantastic. The crews are more than efficient getting the folks cycled in, and the ride cycle is fairly long, with several swings at the maximum height. Most importantly, this is an outright BLAST to ride! To me it provided a totally unique ride, unlike any of the others in the park. Hop on SwingShot, and prepare for the swing ride of a lifetime!

SwingShot is currently sitting very near the top of the heap when it comes to Kennywoods flat/thrill rides! In short, this ride certainly delivers, and Kennywood got plenty of bang for their buck with this! This is your typical mid-sized Screamin Swing installation from the folks at S&S. It stands around 70 feet tall, with maximum swings approaching 90 feet. Essentially, this ride is everything you ever wanted to do on a swing set as a child, but usually couldnt come anywhere close to doing before a parental unit would yell "cut that out!!" The loading process is very efficient, and the Kennywood crew does a great job cycling people through the ride. SwingShot has some good speed during the swings, and you get a wonderful floating/airtime sensation on either end of the maximum swings. And thats where this ride really garners some credit from me - during my rides, I have gotten a good 4-6 swings at the maximum height! Compare this to the much taller Skyhawk at Cedar Point, which only delivers 2 maximum swings. Frankly, Ill gladly take a somewhat shorter version if it gives me more max. swings like SwingShot does! A fine addition to the Lost Kennywood section of the park, I find it neat that they placed it next to the parks Wave Swinger. Its like they are saying, this ride is for folks who like to swing, and THIS new ride is for folks who REALLY like to swing! Definitely a fantastic flat ride that will certainly be swinging loads of happy riders for years to come!!

Ok the swing shot is the best! its one of my top 3 favorite rides in the park. the speed is great and it feels like u are gonna fall out ur seat when u get to the max height. this ride is nothing like the aero 360. the aero is slow,boring,and goes upside down. this ride is FAST,NEVER BORING,and almost goes upside down. id rather compare it to the pirate ship...a Pirate ship on steroids lol. this ride is great and everyone that isnt afraid should ride it. even if u are afraid..ride it, ull love it...i did lol

This ride is a lot like Aero 360, but I liked it slightly less. There were some problems with the ride that may have altered the ride experience for the worse. One of the 2 arms wasnt working, so Im not sure if this interplay would make the ride any more enjoyable, but it did make the line longer, so that was definitely a negative. The view from this ride isnt as good as it is from Aero 360, but the fact that the ride swings over a walkway and over the line up adds to the appearance of danger a little bit. However, in my opinion I think that the park could have done without the addition of this ride, since people who like this type of sensation can get it on Aero 360.
