A very nice wooden coaster. The setting and theme is top notch. As I approached the coaster and studied the layout, it honestly didn't look like much. I figured it would be a decent and mild coaster and thats about it. Boy was I wrong. This baby had some really awesome twists and turns and some really good air. It was a very nice smooth ride.
Best coaster in the park by far in my opinion. Sure its not big, but it packed quite a punch. The first drop was pretty good and far better than it looked. Also, there were many sudden directional changes and quite a few hills that gave some decent air-time, but the rides a tad rough in spots.
I didnt ride this one in a while, but from what I remember this ride was F-U-N! There were so many twists and turns it made me dizzy! I love the curving first drop! Some very good headchoppers as well.
The Outlaw is a wooden coaster of the twister type. Built by CCI, Designed by Larry Bill/Mike Boodley in 1993. It is 67 feet tall, and 2,600 feet long. One PTC train , six 4 seat cars. Very nice twister coaster that is very well maintained and themed nicely. Only runs one train however. Has some good air time, and lateral g's. It is fast, fun, rerideable, large capacity, and long duration.
A small... But very fast ride. Twist and Turns. Built a long time ago and still gets a 10!
You have got to ride this next time you go to this park. Dont judge a book by its cover. It looks small and really it doesnt take up that much space( if you really want to know what it looks like go on the Saw Mill Splash as you are going up you can see the it all). It is planty of fun. You get up the hill very fast since it is preety short. But then you go down a hill and into a jungle of turns. It is over pretty fast but I was able to go twice in a row since the park wasnt very busy. Though dont ride on it too many times in a row or else it will get boring. You owe it to yourself to go on this when you are in Adventureland next time.
APPEARANCE-9 Definately not intimidating, but very nice looking. It fits with the theme well and is well maintained. A perefect coaster for this area of the park. CAPACITY-9 One train, but it is a quick ride and they move you through fast. During the week I am guessing this is almost always a walk-on. RIDE QUALITY-8 The size hurts it just a little and a couple other spots appear like you would get a little better pop of air, but its not to be. Still very solid. FUN-9 I enjoyed all three rides and my wife really liked this little coaster. RERIDE-10 Best coaster in a park that is great fun without great coasters. OVERALL-45 AVG-9.0 Definately a coaster that most fans we catergorize between an 8-10 depending on your taste. For me a very good coaster that almost toys with great. As I look at other wood coasters this probably should be an 8 but the ride just runs and looks so nice.
Iowas Numer One Wooden Coaster! This ones looks are deceiving as it packs a great punch and gives some pretty good airtime. The twists and turns keep you guessing where you and until the very end. Great job Adventureland, when can we expect your next new coaster?
Its not that horrible of a ride. It is probably the best ride in the park.
Not a bad coaster at all - just way too short in my opinion. After going on it several times, it looses any thrill it had.
