A very nice looking ride with a brand new motor that now has the arm spinning making the ride a lot better.
A good, enjoyable ride. It is fun to look around upside-down. Obviously those who don't like to be upside-down or those with acrophobia should avoid this ride, and children may find it too intense.
i like this ride for mnay resons u can be upside down and not no it. u have control of hwre u spin and u are facing acrooss from othe rpeople so u can see there reactions nice very nice how much?
been on the exact same ride in scotland i love this ride gets a bit disoriontated as your not sure exactly where you are cant wait till the adrenalin opens you will love it been on this ride hundreds of times when it was in scotland.
APPEARANCE: It definitely has a carnival feel to it, but the ride is very clean and the light package at night looks great and really makes the ride stand out.
WAIT TIME: Walk-On- I have never seen a line for this, but to the operators credits, they load this very quickly and dont fiddle around.
RIDE: Like it should be, it was very disorienting. Palace Playland ran this longer than any other park Ive been to and therefore I got plenty of flipping, though there could have been more if the base still rotated (it stopped last year).
FINAL VERDICT: If the base still spun this definitely would be my favorite power surge. Still, the long cycle definitely makes this one of the best ones out there and one of the parks best rides as well.
This is one of the best rides I have ever been on. The ride is allot of fun. the seats are comfortable and the restraints are secure without being painfully or allowing you to slide too much. The hight of the ride is impressive and the flipping movement is random. I road this ride about 18 times and the ride never felt the same. The ride loads resalable quickly and they run it for a good amount of time. If you go to Palace Playland definitely ride the Power Surge.
This ride is the best in the park. That may be partly due to the fact that its new enough that I dont worry about the condition of the ride. Great movement in the cars, flipping you all over the place. It feels a bit like the Zipper, but more disorienting.
