This is my favorite classic log flume. It has a classic feel as it takes you down two really fun hills, with the second being more intense, but the first being more soaking. Overall, this is a ride you cannot miss and you should definitely ride.

Nice log flume. The first drop coming back up was neat and the hill was big and fast.

I found this to be a really good log flume. The rides setting is great as the ride winds through the woods. The ride was pretty long as well and I love the drop halfway through the ride thats followed by an uphill section that gave a unique sensation. The final drop was great, as it was tall and fairly stepp. I got quite wet as well.

Good old log flume It is fun and it does not have a long wait. One cool part is the fact that it rides by the treetops. Nice family ride.

Not exactly "adrennaline pumping", but good to cool off without having to wring out your socks (raging rapids). It is in a nice forest tree-top setting, making it a gorgeous and scenic ride. Though it lacks theming, its simplicity makes it a park classic, and a must-ride for people who are looking for a good water ride.

Nice log flume through the trees. Pretty weak drop but a nice way to cool off.

This is by far the favorite flume, you dont get too wet, just enough to cool you off. I love the little dip in the middle of the ride, a 10 in my book.

A standard log flume that manages to be above average, as most of Kennywoods rides seem to be. There are two good drops, a nice winding course, and a good setting in the trees that makes it better than some other non-heavily themed flumes I have been on (i.e. Le Scoot at BGW). The operations were also nicely effecient, which helps to solidify its 8 rating.

First off, I had my first ride, on the Log Jammer, when I was 17 years old, back in 1979. I turned 18 in Nov. 1979. You see, I didnt grow up, going to kennywood, like most people, I know. Meaning that, I didnt get a chance, to ride the rides in Kiddieland. Well, anyway, about my first ride, on the Log Jammer--when I had my first ride, on the Log Jammer, back in the Summer 1979, I rode the Log Jammer, 6 times, throughout, the course of the day. Its a great ride, on a hot Summer day. That final drop, is so thrilling and exhilerating. The Log Jammer at Kennywood is superb!

I love flume rides and this one is no exception. Great way to cool off on a hot day... Funny story bout this ride: Once when my mom was a teen or preteen, she lost her glasses on the ride. They told her she had to wait for her glasses until after the park closed so that they could drain out the troughs and get her glasses. So she went glassesless for the rest of her day at Kennywood. So they went back the next morning to get her glasses. They were all bent up by that point anyway...
