Good shooter ride. It had good effects during the wait and the ride.

Good shooting dark ride. The theming was top notch, both in the queue and during the ride. The guns at times were erratic though, but the ride was pretty long. Throughout the ride were plenty of targets and some even had some animation after they were shot, but there were some parts of the ride lacking in targets.

I was once in Phantom Theater (the inferior replacement for Smurfs Enchanted Voyage) and said out loud that it was dumb to have that in Hanna-Barbera Land when something like Scooby Doo was a perfect fit for a haunted house instead. Of course, years later, I was ecstatic to see someone else in power to do so thought the same thing and added this fun ride. This ride is especially NICE for hot days, and for getting friends to play and compete with you shooting at the ghosts. The only downside is that occasionally the target lights arent always working. Its also funny when you see pictures afterwards of people trying to aim the awkward megaphone-size guns. Despite those two flaws, kudos to the ride designers for coming up with this one.

I love this ride! Im a huge Scooby fan anyways so this ride is great. About the only bad thing it tends to have a line even on slow days and sometimes the guns dont work right, other than that a nice fun dark ride plus it has AC so you can cool off during a hot day!

A good interactive dark ride... and not too short of a ride either. The Mystery Machine cars are unique. Since it was created with younger guests in mind, is it my imagination, or were the targets easier to hit than in most rides of the type?

I liked this shooter. But it isnt as great as Buzz Lightyear or MIB. This was glow in the dark cardboard for most of the ride. Still, go on this one!

While this is a fun ride, I can not give it a higher score because most of the scenery has that cheap 2D "cardboard cutout" look. That would not be so bad, but I remember very fondly when this was the Enchanted Voyage and then the Smurf Enchanted Voyage. I wish they would make the rooms larger and use more animatronic figures. Then it would be great! It is a worthwhile ride and I enjoy it, but it has been and could be so much more... (And yes, I was a child when this was the original HB Enchanted Voyage and I miss it terribly...)

This poor showbuilding has been through quite a lot of refurbs, hasnt it? Frankly, I enjoyed Phantom Theater... And by that, I mean I was absolutely terrified when I saw it when I was six, and now I remember how cool it was and I wish I had been on it one last time (Yes, this is a bit of a Phantom Theater review, but it all ties into SD and the HC, so bear with me). Anyway, when I went recently, I wasnt expecting much of a change, and I was ready to face my childhood fears (And it didnt help my childhood fears that the first time I had been on it the ride stopped as our car stood in front of that blasted furnace... "Leaving so soon?" That stupid cliche saying still haunts my dreams) when I realized it had changed to Scooby Doo! I was glad, because my previous love of Scooby rides had been shattered when Tom Cat abruptly made the kiddy coaster outside the Theater his stupid taxi coaster... he stole it right from the Doo-ster, and I was happy to see Scoob return, and this time in more than a name. As people have said, this is up to par if not better than Buzz Lightyears SpaceRanger Spin over at The Magic Kingdom in Florida. I was also very happy to see that more traditional, flat, blacklit carboard figures as well as a nice amount of animatronics, too. I was also very pleasantly surprised to see the omnimover vehicles contrary to those at Kings Dominion. The leaping mummy effect is so simple, yet so effecitve. My only complain is the guns. I like the way you have to wait for your vehicle to turn towards a scene to shoot, but no red dots appear from your laser on the wall, so you dont know how close you are. Definately check it out! Although it may have somehow converted from a horrific theater to a playfully scary castle, the spirit remains and youll enjoy yourself, young or old!
