Darien Lake may not have any real home runs in the flat ride department (UFO being the exception to that rule), but what they do have are several flat rides that are all quite good. This is a park that struck me as being a nice place with one stellar coaster, and many other coasters and flats that are just solid. To me, that yields a darn good park! Silver Bullet falls right in line with that, as it is a really good enterprise ride. I like these rides, and its amazing to me how rideable they are, especially considering how intense they look from the ground. This version has good speed and some nice spinning once up at near-vertical. The cycle works pretty adequately too, as it is longer than what youd find at most chain parks, but I have seen models run longer (like Kennywoods). The waits are reasonable and the ride is lots of fun, so Silver Bullet hits the mark as a really good flat ride.
This was a pretty good enterprise. The spinning was very smooth and fairly fast, but other models had faster spinning. I found the looping to be pretty fun as well and the ride had a decent cycle as well.
Well maintained. Fun. Rerideable. Short duration and small ride capacity.
Silver Bullet is an entertaining Enterprise flat ride, as if there ever was one that didnt entertain. These things are interesting in that they look so much more intense than they actually are. Seeing all of the little pods get spun upside down over and over again looks like it might be quite nauseating, but the ride itself is actually rather pleasant. I think the angled rotations, as were making our way toward the full upside down position, are actually the most intense. Once you do start doing full loops, its actually pretty easy to just sit back and relax. Its also awesome to note that there are no restraints here whatsoever. The spinning action is all it takes to hold you in place.
I love my enteprises, and this is the only Heintz Fahtze one I have been on thus far. It it pretty intense, as they all are, but more on the level of a Huss Enteprise than a Schwazkopf model. Ok cycle, great spinning at a near-vertical angle, so it was overall very fun but not the best in its genre.
I like flat rides that go upside down but on this one its hard to notice. Its an okay ride though, and its worth the wait when there is one.
This is your basic Enterprize ride which, like the UFO ride at the park, is probably found at your basic carnival or fair. For those who DONT know, all the cars are held by a rotating arm which tilts upward as the ride continues and will eventually spin the cars 360 degrees. Its fun to flip upside-down, although its hard to notice, and does give a very enjoyable ride. Expect a 10-20 minute wait on SB though, as its one of the quality flat rides at SFDL.
This is an up-and-over, 360 degree spinning ride. This is pretty fun even thoguh you dont even realize our going upside down, and even though its not meant to be, its pretty relaxing. Its worth the wait.
