Would be good if it was about FIVE TIMES LONGER!!! A memorable part of my childhood though; sad to see it be bulldozed in february
Passable but nothing special; very short. The theming is also mediocre. Children who don't make the height requirements for other coasters or find them too intense are those who will get the most enjoyment here. Adults are more than likely to be very, very bored.
i love the theme and layout of this coaster its great for ridding with your whole family
Short but well themed roller skater. the theming is great as it is on almost all disney rides and the ride is great for kids.
Date Ridden: 12-31-2007 Times Ridden: Uh......once. This will obviously be very short, much like the ride itself, but I do have some good things to say Goofys Barnstormer. First, when we were there they were unbelievably running two trains. I know Disney is the King of Capacity, but two trains on this ride is unbelieable. Plus, they were running them so fast the poor girl in charge of counting and placing people could not keep up. So they were simply sending trains that were patially empty in order to keep the line moving as quickly as possible. I will promise you that young lady was working harder than anyone in the entire Magic Kingdom. The ride itself is short, fun, and well themed. I do have standard grades I give to certain types of coasters (most mouse rides gets 6s, Boomerangs get 5s) and most family style coasters such as this get 5s. Sometimes I will bump the grade up a point for extraordinary themeing or circumstances but I think Ill keep Goofy at a 5. Props to the fast paced station though.
Fun roller skater. The theming was good from the tower with Goofys plane in it, to the barn complete with chicken. The plane cars also looked good and the whole ride was smooth. However, this seemed a bit slower than the standard roller coaster, but the helix in the barn was very cool. Its short as usual though.
A decent kiddie roller coaster. This one, if there are not long lines, is a good one for getting little ones introduced to roller coasters. Id say take them on this or Thunder Mountain before riding Space Mountain. Not much here for adults or thrill seekers. Theres some mild butterflies but it pales in comparison to Space Mountain or heck even Thunder Mountain. Its very tame.
Is it worth waiting over an hour for? Well, considering that the ride only lasts about a minute... no. The wait should be ten minutes tops to get anything out of it. If even that. The best time to ride this is at night when the lines are short and when people are going to see the parades. Will kids like it? Sure, they should be fine since its not intense... at all. Like I said its a good training coaster.
I give this fun... but short... little ride a 7 out of 10.
Not a bad kiddie ride. It is really short for a disney ride. If the line is short ride it.
A pretty nice little ride at ToonTown Fair. It has some nice visuals such at the barn, and silo and even the trains are themed after aircraft. Had a short wait, about 10 minutes. My 12 year old daughter loved it, and I thought it was a decent little thrill for me after spending hours at ToonTown looking at all the houses and shops.
This is about all you can do for a roller skater - the themeing was kinda quirky yet cool (especially the things in the cages... birds, maybe? I dont remember) and the in and out of the building was kind of neat. Other than that, its just a kiddie coaster with lackluster thrills for myself but smiles all around for the people who SHOULD be on the ride. The best part was trying to explain to the ride ps what a "credit" is and having them look at us like we were insane LOL
