The pond is very, very dirty and there's not much to see. But children love controllable rides, and they will love getting to steer these boats for a while. There is not much shade, so its value as a relaxing ride is rather shot, but adults who like boats may want to ride anyway.

Story Lands Swan Boats were a huge disappointment to me. Located in the back right side of the park, near Cinderellas Castle, the Swan Boats occupy the dirtiest pond I have ever been on for a boat ride. All of the 2 seat, snow white, electric powered swans are well-kept and look good. Because of low capacity, the Swan Boats generally have a 20-30 minute wait. Last time I went there were 12 boats. Once on the ride, you get a very long ride in these slow Swan Boats. Unfortunately, you bake under the sun during the entire ride since theres no shade. You do get a very long ride and a good-sized pond. Peddling the boats is rather easy, and steering the boats is also easy. To me, this ride gets very boring after a while. Overall, the worst paddle boatsride I have ever been on because of a dirty pond, long lines, no real scenery, and slow boats. I highly recommend this ride only to people who enjoy boat rides.

The Swan Boats a described and technically themed are future Swan Princess’s in training. Long ride in well kept electric powered swans. But the attraction isnt well shaded and the boats are slow. Fun but not a must ride.
