I am sad to see Chiller being replaced; it was such a fun ride! I dont get to SFGA very often so the 2 times I was there, one or both coasters were shut down at some point during the day. I think Batman didnt run at all the one time. It was drizzling my fist time on this ride and I tell you once the train launched, it felt like hail pelting my face! A nice effect! Batmans top hat inversion and Robins cobra roll were thrilling! And the G-roll that apparently was removed from both, was actually a nice surprise...then you get to do it all again....BACKWARDS!!!

This was one of my favorite rides when I visited the park. It was built in 1997. Batman has 4 inversions and Robin has 6 inversions. It is 200 feet tall. Batman is 1,229 feet long and Robin is 1,137 feet long. This LIM-launched coaster displays a vivid contrast of colors in its Batman theming, Robin side is bright red and Batman is dark navy blue. Before being catapulted into its agressive inversions, riders rush through a mock-up of an observatory featured in the film "Batman and Robin". The ride was nicely themed, fun, rerideable, has a large capacity, and a long ride duration. I will hate to see this ride go. It was a great addition to the park.

Incredible ride. Though the launch isnt in Kingda Kas category, its still sudden and pretty strong. I love the top hat (Batman), cobra roll (Robin), and the hang-time filled zero-G rolls. Even better than forwards was backwards as the ride felt out of control and it was one of the most intense coaster experiences for me.

Dude 3rd favorite lauched roller coaster i have ridden both sides of this monster and there both just as intense you sit down and its like 321 Good- BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! so scary u rocket out of the station on batman you do a top hat loop which takes you out of your seat bt in a good way as u plunge back to earth while robin goes through 2 upside down turns in a cobra roll then theres a 0 g twist which also takes you upside down the up the towere just so u can freefall bact to earth again i love it !

NEW REVIEW 4/15/06

I cant compare both sides. Batman looks sweet, but Ive never even seen it run. This review is just for the Robin side. In that nice station (with peeling wallpaper lol), you can always hear that launch with some screaming thrown in. One of the things I liked about the ride was before the launch, the operator says something like "Goodbye", "Enjoy your ride", etc., and off you go. That was a purtty good cobra roll (especially while going backwards), but you gotta admit that that zero-g roll is an experience. Like the cobra roll, its best while going backwards. (you get that thrown-away feeling, like it?) That second launch wasnt that powerful, but at least it lets the train go higher. Its not much compared to the inversions. My biggest complaint? The line, of course. Since the train isnt big, and they usually dispatch the train slowly, dont ride if the line looks bad. Fortunately, I got to ride Chiller just before the lines got bad today. The roaring the ride makes is also kind of a complaint, but these kind of rides are like that. Ride this on a cold, or a wet and cloudy, day. Hot days are useless here. So, without further ado, "Enjoy your ride!" Here we go again.....

This ride is awesome! The launch is incredibly intense,(packing in 5 gs), and the cobra roll and zero-g roll were great, too. I love going through the zer-g roll backwards and going up in the cobra roll backwards. Always get on this ride in the beginning of your day, even though this usually doesnt have a long wait.

A bit overrated. I rode Batman once and it is way better then Robin. Unfotunatly, Batman is never open. This ride packs a lot of power but is over too quick. This rating would be higher if the ride was maintained better.

This happens to be one of my favorite rides at Six Flags. The trains are tight and its uncomfortable. It also had lap bars which I dislike. I will review the better side first. Batman the Chiller. Well for my only ride on it this year this is what happened. 10, 9, 8, Boom we launched. We soared out and into the inside Top Hat. Then we go up for the corkscrew and I just realized. Theres more. We go down into the corkscrew backwards and then the inside top hat. That was brilliant. Hang on for dear life. Then you fly into the station and get out. Now for Robin. You launch out and do the Cobra Roll which was my favorite inversion. Next the barrel roll which was cool too. We did it backwards which I did not like as much but it was cool. I will settle with a 9.
