Date Ridden: Summer of 2007 Times Ridden: 1 This was an enjoyable log flume with 2 drops and a fairly long total cycle. It is a very popular ride due to its location in Arizona which is not exactly the hot bed of theme park attractions. We got decently wet on the second and larger of the two drops but as long as you dont play in the water you will not get totally soaked like on Splash Mountain or Dudley Do-Right. If you happen to be in Phoenix and visit Castle Park you might as well ride as much as possible including this very average log flume.

Splashdown was a pretty good log flume. It was really short, but I really liked the rocks surrounding the ride and the unique layout. The first drop was just okay and it got me just a little wet, but the big drop was excellent as it was pretty big and quite steep. Best of all, it got me really wet.

Your average log flume, which isnt too bad. This is probably the best ride in the park, as the drops (one large, one medium) are pretty solid, it gives you a great view of the freeway and downtown Phx, and well, because we do live in AZ and it gets kinda hot, gotta love getting soaked! Gotta love that wannabe splash mountain theming the ride has here and there too, haha

This was a pretty average flume with 2 drops. The first drop was pretty small, probably only 20 feet tall. I was up front on this and didnt get wet on the first drop, so I figured Id stay pretty dry. After a brief turn around we headed up a much bigger hill, probably 60 feet tall. At the top of this hill we tried to splash the coaster racing underneath us. LOL We then turned left and headed down the drop! I stayed really dry through the splash down, which surprised me. After the splash down a huge wave came up from the side getting me absolutley soaked! Fortunatly, the dry Pheonix air dried me off pretty quickly! This was great for a really hot day, but I wouldnt want to try it in the winter! LOL
