Tilt a Whirl is a flat ride. It is average speed, fun, rerideable, it has a large cpacity, and a long duration.
A fine good tilt-a-whirl; both the movement and speed were pretty good. The cycle was OK too.
Good tilt-a-whirl. The ride looked to be maintained very well and this one had pretty good spinning, especially during the whips. It also had a decent cycle as well.
This ride is hit or miss. The first time I was on it, I got a great car that spun super fast. The second time, the car wasnt as great. The key is to obviously figure out which way to lean to get a good whirl, but if you have a crappy car, it doesnt help much.
I am going with a low score on this as well. Even though I laughed at the slow rotation Rich and I got on it, I got off feeling very disappointed as most spinning rides I experienced that day were actaully spinning! This was very slow to load and not much fun!
I feel that this is one of those rides that totally has benefited in TPC rankings based only on where it was located. If this ride was moved to SF and nothing else changed it would have much lower ratings. Now I do believe the park should influence it some, but there is nothing special about this ride at all and even though the only reason I ever ride this type of ride is to get a credit this is a below average version of the ride. Ranks only above Power Surge for worst ride currently in the park which I have rode.
A regular Titl-a-Whirl. You know what to expect
A rather free spinning tilt-a-whirl that is run at a decent speed (Ive been on some slow ones). I rode it solo so I didnt have to try and "coordinate" any shifting of weight in the car and I got some really wild spinning gone.
Sit in the car, twirl around, get your face stretched...
AWESOME RIDE!!!!
whee! tons of fun, and pulls lots of gs
