Sweeeeet coaster, with thrills and beautiful manners, as well. My brother and I, after acquiring VIP passes to the park, rode this gem several times over without wait, and darn if it didnt get better and better each time. The layout is broad and open, the ride is fast and smooth, and the trains are perfect, allowing you a perched position, above all to enjoy the ride and view. Nitro has all the characteristics of a smaller, more subdued Millenium Force - silky tracks, dash and effortless movement. It is a true joy to ride - way, way up at the top of GAdvs coaster collection.

i never wrote my own review for this one, i think because i had (and have) trouble verbalizing why it didnt really do it for me. the only adjective that keeps blinking on and off in my mind is "pushy", which applies to every b&m coaster ive been on. maybe its the four abreast trains, i dont know...they just seem too "pushy" - hyper, invert, floorless, whatever. maybe i should do the classic TPC move and give nitro a "4" and a two word review - "too pushy". LOL for unexplainable reasons, i just like the intamin "feel" better. go figure...

Do it, traver - I so dare you...

But yes - it does have a certain "pushiness" to it - the lifted panorama offered by the trains, the sense of elevation above the tracks... I get what youre saying... actually a good term in this situation...

I hear that B&Ms next coaster seating style is the extended floorless flying seating model which places riders over the track, with the wheel covers well behind them. Riders will also be facing downward at the track which will feature numerous pictures inlayed in the track which will provide a flip book type film on how all other seating styles are inferior in every single way possible. lol

how bout a "flintstones" train design? the layout of the coaster can be designed in such a way that there is not enough potential energy to accomplish the elements by inertia, so riders have to reach their feet through holes in the floor of the train and "run" the ride over the crests of hills and around loops...

Id hate to be riding alone on that coaster!

well, itd be like you were alone anyhow if you rode with a bunch of freeloaders who kept their feet in the train. LOL

Sounds like Something My brothers would do. Id be kicking away and theyd be siting back. anyways I can see how the 4 abreast cars can be Pushy. But you have to love the capacity of those trains. Not to mention the coasters overall.
