Review of Batman The Dark Knight @ Six Flags New England

A good addition to the park and much needed too, might I add. While it is short, this coaster makes up for it with intensity and packs a very unique and thrilling layout in a small space. I actually prefer this over Medusa @ SFGAdv because it is slightly smoother and less predictable. Wish it was longer though.

Im not really arguing with you Big MRC, Im just curious. I just dont really get how you can have Medusa as your #4 coaster when you have basically said that this ride is better than it. I dont get the logic behind it.

Im not tryign to say it was better over all Im sayign its a bit more intense and a slight bit unbredictable. Debate likely woudl have been a better word.I really like Medusa but Medusa wouldnt fit at SFNE. it woudl be like sayign batman wasnt intense or fun because of Raptor and other larger inverteds.

I wasnt saying that Medusa would be a better fit than Batman at the park. It was a good addition for that place. Im just saying that Medusa, in my opinion, is a better ride and was just wondering about your thoughts on Batman considering I found it kind of below par for my standards.

Batman for its size and foot print is a great coaster. Im sure it is was given more space they woudl be able to have a far better coaster but given its limitations its fantastic. they really did pack allot into a little space. some of the elements are also better then some. that loop ofers great Gs and air time and th ezero G role is amazing. one of the best I have riden. I think one thing thatmake sme look at it deforent is I havnt been to CP of SFMM and riden the Huge monster coaster they offer. Ive been to alot of smaller parks that have had to do the same thing make the best out to the space they have. that alots me to look at things deforently. also I looked at Batman as a compact floorlest not just a floorless coaster.

This is off topic but I see that some of you have been to Lake Compounce and SFNE. Im making a trip to the area next month and I want to hit both parks in the same day. Does anyone have any suggestions on which park to hit first? I know SFNE obviously has more coasters. (And Im only riding the coasters.) Is there any advantage to hitting one park before the other???

Well, I guess it depends on when you go. Im planning a similar trip because I found it hard to stay interested at both parks all day. If you go on a weekday, I would go to Compounce first since Six Flags is open later and probably will be packed during the day so you might be able to beat the rush in the morning and day at Six Flags. If it is a Saturday, I would go to Compounce at night just because I love the small park atmosphere at night, which is something that Six Flags New England doesnt really seem to be able to offer.

Definalty on a weekday hit Compounce first. tehy close at 9:00 were SFNE is clased at 10:00. I woudl eat at Compounce the food is cheaper and free drinks. also Compounce has only 3 majer coasater and i woudl sugest hiting Ghost hunt and the thunder rapids at LC before leaving. with SFNE you will likey have long lines no mater what. so Hit the smaller ocaster first and hit what you can. Superman will normaly stay open a littel later to get the last of the line in.
