Well it all started in the morning around 11, feeling a bit uncertain of how the weather would hold up, since it said a chance of T-Storms all day and early rain. I was also worried about the temperature being too cool, since I really wanted to go on the sklooosh and all. But the day turned out to be PERFECT!!!! No rain at all and a perfectly not to hot or cold temperature. And the best part about it was that the park was almost empty!!!! So hardly no waits and most were walk-ons. I couldn't possibly ask for a better day.

So it first started with us getting Handstamps because my friends really wanted them (I prefer tickets) but I decided to get the stamp anyway. I look at the price $30, which I thought was an ok price, not too bad. Still thought pay as you go was cheaper. But then we found out, we could get stamps that were good until 7pm for $15!!!!! What a deal! We were planning to leaver around 6 anyways so it was definatly worth it. I don't think they offer that all the time, guess because it's such a good deal.

Anyways we first headed to the Round Stands to grab something for lunch, me and my one friend had Rib Sandwiches which were excellent and my other two had hotdogs. Thing was, the hotdogs must have been uncooked because both of them later on in the day felt sick. But they got over it, but it makes me mad they would sell uncooked hotdogs. And remembering from last year, I got a hotdog at the same stand and the same thing happened that day, I felt sort of sick. But that's the only real complaint I had of the park, and really it's the people that run the stand's fault. I guess we should have told them about it.

So the first ride we went on was the Haunted Mansion, which is kind of a tradition for me, always being the first ride I go on. Same as usual but still fun. Next it was to the Log Flume - walk on, a great ride and this time we didn't get in trouble for rocking the log. We rode this two times, each time trying to do an air guitar motion for the camera, but it didn't pick it up because it takes the picture in mid drop and I can't hold it out that long. Next it was to the Phoenix. Words cannot describe this coaster, it is simply amazing. We rode this about 4 times in a row, and all were walk ons, it was soooo great!!! Next it was the antique cars which are always cool and then it was to the whirlwind which was broken down. Not a big loss but I still wanted to ride it. So then we decided to rid the flyers, really fun to snap them! After that it was to the cozmotron which I said last year I wouldn't ride again but I did anyway!!! The reason I said that was because I got sick after I rode it, but now I knew it was for the uncooked hotdogs. So it was fun. After that it was off to the Twister!!! Again, this coaster is simply amazing. As another walk on, we rode this thing about 3 times in a row! And man, I just love that tunnel at the end, it's so cool literally and loud! After that it was to Power Surge which was much more fun then last year because I wasn't sick. After that we went to the bumperboats, a great ride as always and then we rode the whipper, good also. After that we went on the High Speed Thrill Coaster, which was a nice ride but every time we went up the hill it kinda banged around alot and it hurt my stomach. Still fun though. After that we rode the skooters which was fun too as always. They also had that old guy yelling again "Turn the Wheel"! Anyways, after that we decided to try Boat Tag, I never was on this before. It's actually pretty fun, you sit in these Tanks that are in water and shoot rubber balls at eachother. Pretty fun also. We then decided to take a nice relaxing ride up the Knoebels Mountains on the Scenic Skyway. So after that we headed back to the Twister, which still had<

Wow, that was an excellently detailed trip report. I'm going two weeks from today for my b-day party (as adriahna heard so many times). Anyway, great report and maybe we can meet there in the future. I am twelve (so that if we meet we don't have any surprises).

Ever wonder what happens when your seatbelt is nonfunctional on the Skooters at Knoebels? I don't think you want to.

Glad you guys had a great time and the whether held out! I guess it wasn't too crowded since it was a Monday and all. I don't think Ive ever been there when a ride was "down". Im one of those who don't mind the Whirlwind and ride it at least once when there. Anyway, I'll have to watch out for those hot dogs lol, Ive never head anything about them before. Anyway, again glad you had a good time (was it 4/5 band members that went?) I hope to get up there sometime this season. See, if I stay here and go to school, Ill be there over labor day. If I leave and move to AZ, then Im up there for a day trip and miss the yearly camping trip for the first time...

It was 4 of us, not including my friends parents that took us. But yeah, we had a great time. Don't think I could ask for a better day. Hope you can make it.

I don't think I've ever been there when a ride was down either. I guess either the rumors are becoming true, or Whirlwind was not up to fuction yesterday.

Yeah, I'll try to get there when I do an east-coast park run sometime in the next 5 years or so, I hope. Oh, BTW, it's "gems", not "jems".

I can't wait to go to Knoebels later this summer. Every review just gets better and better. It seems like Holiday World in the sense that it doesn't appear like much from the outside but you realize it's one of America's great amusement parks after visiting.

I was thinking in a similar fashion. I plan to drive to HW and IB over Labor Day weekend and hope they are similar in atmosphere to Knoebels.
