Hey I was just wondering if any of you have ever ridden the Manhattan Express in NY NY Hotel, Las Vegas. I'm going out there next summer and I was wondering if someone could give me a review.

When you go don't just ride the ME. Speed is better so if you can only do one ride Speed.
If you have a couple of extra hours to spare one day pay the $16 to get a all ride pass at the Adventure Dome, it's worth it.
Then if you have another couple hours to spare, and a good chunk of money, pay $20 to go up the Stratosphere tower and ride the Big Shot, High Roller(not a must ride) and X-Scream(must ride).
I believe Big Shot and High Rolelr are around $6. I have no clue what X-Scream costs.

Yes Ive ridden ME, and all vegas coasters for that matter.
Ill be putting a review of it right after this post.
I will offer some tips though: If you stay at the hotel and ask as you make your reservations about it, they will give you a free pass to it, which is nice as it would nomrally cost $12. I believe that Big Shot is $8 and High Roller $4, but BS could be $6. I dont know about X-Scream either. Canyon blaster is $5 for a single pass, otherwise get the dome pass. I just wanted to do CB and had VERY limited time so I just got a single ride pass for it. SPEED:The Ride is by far the best coaster there. You MUST get an all day pass for this coaster. It is only $2-$4 extra than a single ride, and the ride NEVER has a line. I got on it 7 times in an hour. The only thing is that the loading process is horrendously slow.

Going up the tower only costs $12? I thought it was $20? Oh well.
The all day pass to the Dome was defiantly worth it. I believe it's $16.
When you went on Speed UC did one ticket get you 2 rides on it? If you inderstand what I mean by that?

Actually, I'm only 14, and I will be with a camp, so I can't really sneak away and do all that stuff on my own. I am going to be riding the Big Shot though, which I'm excited about. But what is X-Scream? I've heard about every other ride in Las Vegas (because there aren't too many) except that one.

I have been to Las Vegas and I rode the ME several times. The heartline twist is like nothing I have ever felt before. It fells like you are hanging upside down forever. The ride itself is a little jerky, but definitly worth going on. One caution, they charged 12 dollars a ride when I went, which is highway robbery. Go on once and save your tickets to get a discounted 2nd ride.

Tacoking-I bought an all day pass and got as many rides as i wanted (turned out to be 7 cause I was on a tight schedule).

What I meant was when you boarded the train, did you get to different rides before you got off?

Manhattan Express, simply put is the roughest steel coaster I've ever been on.I wouldn't spend the $10 ( had a $2 off coupon)to ride it again.

I thought Manhattan Express was arguably the best coaster in Vegas.
Goes to show what other's opinions really mean (you've gotten various responses) - you just have to wait and see what you think.
