I went to BGW in August after I competed in a swim meet in Maryland and I haven't gotten around to writing a trip report, but don't worry, I remember everything. OK, I entered the park right at opening and the first thing I went to was the Lochness Monster. I walked right on and was surprised at how great of a coaster it was. The first drop is great, the loops are really fun, and the helix is so disorienting. I then went straight for Alpengeist. This coaster is summed up in one word: Insane. The drop, the inversions, everything about it is insane, not to mention intense. For some reason, Germany opened an hour after the rest of the park, so I want and waited for about 2 min. and when they opened the gates I walked on to BBW. BBW is a great ride, no matter what others may say. I then completed my circut of the BGW coaster at Apollo's Chariot (WM was closed that day). I rode it in the front row (didn't get hit by any birds, if ya know what I'm sayin). I then went to Escape fro Pompeii and the back to Apollo, where I rode in the back which, was mind blowing. If Alpengeist is Insane from start to finish, the only word to describe Apollo is Perfect. I then headed to that really big restaraunt in Germany. It began to pour rain (and all the locals left). I ate lunch, hung around for a while, then went back to Apollo right as they opened it again (don't worry, I only rode it 5 times). Then I went to Corckscrew Hill. This ride was great, it comes highly recommended. The line is really tightly enclosed though so it may freak you out if your chlostrophobic. I then got on the skybasket and headed for England where, I did the Haunted Lighthouse which, didn't compare to Corckscrew, but it was still fun. I then went back to Pompeii and then to Roman Rapids. Roman Rapids had a longer line than Apollo and the ride wasn't that great, not to mention I got stuck on it for a while. I then got on the train, which is a beautiful ride, and rode it to France, where I rode Alpengeist again. There I rode Le Scoot, which was a really fun flume. It started to rain again when I was in line, but stopped by the time I got on (the front row of course). Alpengeist just doesn't get old. I then ate dinner, got on the train and went to Italy again. I rode on Pompeii again, and then, right as the park was closing, I took two rides on Apollo, in the back seat, in the dark. Wow. GO TO BGW, you won't be dissapointed

It was called Die Wildkatze. It was an Anton Schwarzkopf Wildcat.

I guess they are taking Wild Maus to the Busch Gardens in Tampa. Apparantley it was only supposed to be there for the 1996 season but it remained due to popular demand.

Yes, it does! We deserve something better than a 7 year old wild mouse. BGW just got carckscrew hill, why does it get another attraction and gets WM shipped off to us? It's not fair!!!!

It's going to be annoying when someone at school shows up and says "Busch Gardens got a brand new coaster!" I'm going to want to hit whoever does that

I think BGT getting a used coaster is better than none, but I am nto a huge fan of that one b/c of all the breaks. Still, it would be nice even mroe for BGT to get a new ride. What is BGW getting I have not heard? Oh, good trip report I forgot to say almost like I was there w/ you!!!!
