This is a report on Six Flags Great America after going there twice this past year. Here are my tips.

Try to get there before the park opens. Once you get inside, go directly to Superman: Ultimate Flight. Don't forget to put your stuff (if you have any) in the locker near the ride exit. If you get in line right away, you should be able to get on in about 25-30 minutes. Even if you get in line half an hour after the park opens, you will probably end up waiting almost two hours. Also, do a first ride on Raging Bull towards the beginning because it can get a pretty long line also- maybe around 45 minutes. None of the other rides that I went on have lines that are usually longer than 30 minutes. These rides are The Whizzer, Iron Wolf, The American Eagle, The Viper, Demon, Giant Drop, & Roaring Rapids. If you don't have time, my advice would be to skip the Demon, it's not that great. Both times I went it was on a weekday, so I don't know how much more crowded it is on the weekend. But definately get there early. It will make things a lot nicer. When I went the second time, I got in line for Batman: The Ride but the ride broke down and I didn't get to ride. Overall, it's a good park and it is a lot of fun. Enjoy yourself!

Demon rocks, a must ride, SFGA is my home park and the Demon keeps me coming back. Sit in the back seat for ejector air on the first hill, then try and tell me to skip it.
