I'm going to SFOT in two weeks when I go to visit my cousin in Dallas next Wednesday. It's a shame I haven't been home all summer but, hey, at least I've gone to two parks! Wish me a good time!

Oh, and BTW, does anyone know the best day to go? Or does it even matter because everyone is in school Down South now?

Magnum- not everybody in the south is in school yet (Im not for a few more weeks), plus, a lot of the schools in Texas go back the week after labor day, cause I have cousins there. Also, I went to SFAW in late August two years ago and the park was still fairly crowded even though is was a weekday, so they were probably still on summer vacation.

Oh, ok. I'm on vacation in N.O right now and they just got back in school last week. So I just figured the rest of the South was.

The best day to go to SFOT is a weekday especially Tuesday or Wednesday.

I happen to live in New Orleans and I'm making my way to SFoT this week too (leaving tomorrow!). I hear it really isn't crowded during the week lately.

No, but they do have Holiday in the Park. I just got back from my trip and lines weren't very long (I'd imagine they'd be less this week coming since school is in). Most lines were around 15-25 minutes except for lower capacity rides such as Superman: Tower of Power.

I was lucky. We (meaning my family and I) planned to go this past Monday which was the first day of school for a lot of kids in the DFW area. There were literally no lines at all and we got on everything that was good at the park (the BEST roller coasters, Superman, etc.)
