I had some extra time to kill in Phoenix yesterday and decided to visit Castles n Coasters.

Castles n Coasters
Now I knew the place was not very big so I didn'.t expect much. The coasters were better than I expected, both have multiple headchoppers and Desert Storm really tosses you around if you sit on the left side. The Pirate Ship was average but the highlight of the park was their drop tower. Although, the Skydiver only drop you it feels like you are shot downward with insane air time and the brakes engage extremely late. I was even a little scared. The only other ride I did was the go-karts. It was a fun track but ot wide enough for passing.

Schnepf Farms
It is a working farm about 20 miles outside of Phoenix. They have a Chili and Pumpkin Festival every October, so with a Miler family coaster included in the $12 admission I decided to check it out. It is mainly a place families bring the kids to pick pumpkins, but they also serve excellent chili. No the chili does not have pumpkins in it. It was a great event for kids and a relaxing change for adults.

The Peachtree Express is the Miler coaster that the Schnepfs keep in great shape. You get two circuits and it provides airtime similar to Knoebels'.s High Speed Thrill Coaster. The other thngs I did at the park were the swings, walked through a 4-acre Corn Maze (only got lost 3 times), watched Pig Races.

I bought a fresh squeezed lemonade that was awesome and then ordered their trademark Chicken and Chili d=Dinnermapled the

^^there actually wasn'.t any pumpkin in the chili (although I was hoping). It was straight up beef and bean chili. They were supposed to be selling pumpkin donuts but the stand was closed.
