The perennial topic has returned, because, unthinkably, I don't think anyone has posted one of these yet. Simply put, what parks are you heading to (or at least hoping to head to) this year? For me:

Holiday World
Kings Island
Cedar Point
Six Flags Great America
Doubtful: Indiana Beach and Mt. Olympus

^Shoot, now THAT sounds like one kick-ass summer! Hope you have a blast traveling to all those parks.

Light year for me, that's for sure. Only definites are Kennywood a couple times (including the Single Riders '08 charity event) and CP once in May.

Possibilities include maybe Waldameer for RFII, and if stars align perfectly and a proposed work trip takes me just outside of Chicago, then I may try and swing up to SFGAm to snag a new park.

I'd rather be coaster riding!

^^Yea, I guess being a teacher has its advantages!

Here is my origional plan:

Astroland
Denos
SFGAD
SFA
Compounce
Quassy
SFNE
Canobie
Funtown
Great Escape
Idlewild
Kennywood

I may be droping a few of the smaller North East parks, and condense that trip if I am able to go on the TPR Behemoth/RFII trip. I'm getting a new job, so it will depend on my vacation time........

Hey, keep us (me) updated on the possibility of this. SFGAm is my home park, and I'd be happy to ride along with you if you wanted some company for your first time at the park.

I've been to Disneyland/DCA, SF Magic Mountain, Dollywood and SF Over Georgia but after going back to SF next week, I don't have any plans for the rest of the year. Probably Dollywood again since I have a pass and then Orlando for at least a few days in the fall but nothing else is planned.

I sleep, drink beer, and ride coasters. That is a summary of my life.

Wow, thanks, that'd be awesome to have someone to ride with and who knows the park way better than I would! I will definitely keep you posted on this, but right now it's 50-50 if I will be making the trip out there. If I do, I will be heading to Tinley Park, IL, which is about an hour from the park. I think it'd be great to hit up the park while on a nasty work trip, as this is a park that's pretty high on my list of places I'd like to go. And if I'd also be able to meet up with a fellow TPC'er, then all the better!

Depending on where I am (FL, SC, elsewhere) keep me updated. I promise I won't make you go on Ninja again!

Busch Gardens Europe (July)
IOA/WDW and BGT (October)

If I am lucky, I may make it to SFGADV!

This is going to be a pretty busy year for me. The parks that I am planning on hitting are...

Coney Island (Astroland, Deno's, and other small attractions)
Playland
Six Flags Great Adventure (too bad for New England- no permit )
Morey's Piers
Dorney Park
Hersheypark
Knoebels
Kennywood
Waldameer
Lakemont Park
Six Flags America
Kings Dominion
Busch Gardens Europe

This is a longshot right now, but I may have a conference in Chicago later this year and may have some time to sneak out to Six Flags Great America while there.

I think I will have to take Holiday World and Kings Island off my list because of the HIGH GAS PRICES.

In two weeks I'll be heading out for a pretty good coaster trip. I'm heading up to get quite a few new credits. I plan on hitting Seabreeze, Darien Lake, Martin's Fantasy Island, Canada's Wonderland, Marineland, and Waldameer. On the way back I'm planning at stopping at Knoebels since it's about halfway. I forsee myself getting 8 new credits, highlighted by Behemoth and Ravine Flyer II.

Let us know how it goes - your Memorial Day weekend trip sounded like fun.

I've already been to Six Flags once during Spring Break and I'm going next Thursday for a season passholders ERT session on Superman from 10-12 in the morning (the one good thing that has come out of the Dark Knight trouble). Later in August I'm going to Universal and Walt Disney World.
