I'm planning on going to Busch Gardens Africa later this summer and I was wondering if anybody rode Sheikra with the new floorless trains. If you have, please describe how it is.

I haven't been on SheiKra with the floorless trrains, but I've been on the original SheiKra train design during its debut year & from my standpoint, I don't see much of a difference at all in terms of the trains. It's not like most of the rider's feet were able to touch the ground in the first place since the seat's are elevated & all. I think the train change is somewhat overrated.

I rode Griffon, and if you ride in the back to rows you have a place to rest your legs. I don't know about the first row. I am assuming and from the pictures I saw they are the same type of trains. The floorless factor will not change the ride to much.

The floorless coaster in general is just all hype, to swap perfectly good trains after one season is really stupid.

i agree with got it. why did busch have to try to make sheikra similar to griffon? it was just pointless. let griffon be unique. now that i rode griffon i really don't care if i ride sheikra because it will be the same except smaller. if it had a floor i would want to ride it to see how a dive coaster with a floor feels. bad move by busch.

Yeah, but the story I heard was that Sheikra was supposed to be floorless and the floored trains were just tempos
